Official Container Use downloads for Windows, Mac, Linux. Dagger’s open-source MCP server and CLI that gives each coding agent its own container and git branch, so several agents can work in parallel without conflicts and failed attempts can be thrown away; you see the full command history and logs and can drop into an agent’s terminal at any time. Works with Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients. The README says it is still in early development.

02How to install Container Use
Windows
- Download the .exe / .msi above (or the .zip portable build).
- Double-click to install. If SmartScreen warns, check the publisher name before choosing “Run anyway”.
Mac
- Download the .dmg (or .zip) for your chip.
- Open it and drag the app into Applications. For a .tar.gz CLI, unpack it and move the binary onto your PATH.
Linux
- .AppImage:
chmod +xit and run. .deb:sudo apt install ./file.deb. .rpm:sudo dnf install ./file.rpm.
