Generate images locally with ComfyUI

ComfyUI is a node-based local image generator: unlimited, reproducible and batch-friendly. Beginners can start with simpler Fooocus or InvokeAI.

How to fix

  1. Check hardware: NVIDIA or AMD GPU recommended on Windows; macOS needs Apple Silicon (official requirements)
  2. Download Comfy Desktop (Windows / macOS / Linux) or the Windows portable build
  3. Open a text-to-image workflow from the official templates and download the models it asks for
  4. Save good workflows as JSON and reuse them with new prompts in batches
  5. Simpler options: Fooocus needs only a prompt; InvokeAI has a canvas UI

  • Download models and custom nodes only from official or author release pages
